Christina Villagomez is a multidisciplinary artist living in Hayden, Idaho. Whether working in pen and ink or paper mache, she is influenced by a combination of old fairy tale illustrations, pulp scifi, the female gaze and the natural setting she was raised in. With a background in journalism, her primary interest is in creating art with a strong narrative thread running through almost every project. She has received several public art commissions for the city of Spokane, and is currently a member of The Coeur d’Alene Arts and Culture Alliance’s Living Lakes Artist Residency. The Living Lake Project is a 15-month artist fellowship focused on protecting the Coeur d’Alene Lake watershed. In addition to the CDA Arts and Culture Alliance, the project is also partnered with the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and Coeur d’Alene Tribe. Currently she operates a private studio in Coeur d’Alene, 5th Dimension Studios. Christina received 2nd place in the People's Choice category of Best Local Artist in the North Idaho Business Journal's Best of 2020 and 2025.
