Lemseh Carothers-Abdullah(Lemseh Carothers-Abdullah)(@occipicco24)
A visual artist based in Seattle, WA. I focus on creating original intuitive paintings, custom colored pencil and intuitive painting commission without a fixed plan, letting color, texture, and instinct guide the process; as well as mindful decor pieces that bring a sense of stillness and calm to living spaces rather than just a standard decoration.
Artist Statement
I didn't come to painting through formal training — I came to it through instinct. Every piece I make begins the same way: no sketch, no fixed plan, just color and a quiet studio where I can listen to what the canvas wants to become. Since 2022, I've built an independent art practice around that same principle — creating original collections and custom commissions for clients who want something in their home that couldn't exist anywhere else. No two paintings are ever repeated, because no two moments of intuition are the same.
