The best parts of my family gatherings growing up were when my dad and his two brothers would pull out the guitars and gather everyone around the campfires to sing old songs and tell old stories. The joy was infectious, and the tales were wild and wonderful.

Over time, I realized that everyone has stories to tell. Important stories. The cashier at your local grocery store had a unique childhood, and your neighbor two doors down has powerful hopes and dreams.

Using the power of music, I energize stories and amplify the voices of ordinary folk. I record people telling stories from their lives and then create musical scores to accompany those stories. I believe every human being is worthy of what only movie characters normally get: a soundtrack to their lives!

Through this work, I connect people to this truth and help them to see the inherent dignity in the lives that surround them. I hope to expose my listeners to deep joys and pains in the lives of others, and in doing so give them a renewed perspective on the other folks in their lives.
