Jesse Holt was born into the kinetic energy of Brooklyn, New York, and raised with an independent spirit. His perspective on art was shaped by a life in motion. Life has taken him from the rhythmic urban jungle of NYC, to the rugged coastlines of New England and the lush, tropical landscapes of Hawaii—a migration that instilled a deep appreciation for the tension between diverse environments and contrasting artistic impressions. He formalized his artistic instincts at the University of Hawaii, earning a Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. Drawn by the pulse of the design industry, he later returned to New York City to sharpen his craft and build a professional foundation at the intersection of fine and visual arts. Following a pivotal chapter in California, Jesse now calls West Seattle home. He continues to bridge his rich personal history with a modern, collaborative approach, creating visual storytelling that is as diverse as the landscapes and influences that shaped him.

The Interface Series reclaims the fragments of our digital past. By assembling recycled keyboard keys into vivid, re-imagined mosaics of cultural icons and historic landmarks, Jesse explores the intersection of human identity and the machines we use to define it. By turning the ‘noise’ of old hardware into a striking visual dialogue about how we recognize and remember in a hyper-connected society and evolving world. It is a series that transforms the ‘input’ of yesterday into the art of today.
