Soapstone Pipe Making Workshop @ The Schack Art Center in Everett
Students will be hand sawing stone, then filing, drilling and sanding their pipes. They will be polishing by heating and applying bees wax. They will buff polish the cooled result.
Students will learn shaping and finishing soapstone, where to acquire stone and where to sell pipes.
Students will make two soapstone pipes.
There will be a $20 supply fee made payable to the instructor on the day of class.
