Held by the Current
Held by the Current is a black and white photography project made along Porter Creek in Washington’s Capital State Forest after days of steady rain. The creek ran high through its channel, shifting shape as light and shadow moved across the surface. The series looks closely at movement, rhythm, tension, release, and the brief moments when rushing water seems almost held in place.
