Stephanie Krimmel(Stephanie Krimmel)(@skrimmel)
Before becoming a practicing artist, my career was in Web site development and UX. I live and work in Seattle, USA, where I'm a member of Shift Gallery. When not making art, I can be found skiing or hiking in the Cascades with my family, seeking out fabulous food or coaxing life in my small backyard garden.

Artist Statement
I'm a digital artist exploring concepts of time, scale and human experience through process-based installation work. The basis for the work is a time-based series of digital paintings called the Daily Art Habit. I create a digital painting every day, and almost every painting is a continuation of the previous day’s work. The series currently spans over 2800 consecutive days’ practice. Inspiration for the work comes from the physical environment, my emotions and daily actions and events. The process is driven by curiosity and the constant question… what would happen if?
