Florals (floralis)

Paintings and drawings inspired by the flowers and plants in my back garden. I am not interested in perfection - focused on capturing nature in all her glory and imperfections as the seasons progress and flowers bloom and die.

Amidst the Graceful Light, Nobility Warms the Dawn

We have not long to linger as the day trembles and drifts away

The light pauses without asking to stay, blossoms lean into its passing

The heart brightens as the light decides to linger, and joy moves without a sound

In the garden's first breath are dew covered confessions

The soft summer morning drapes the blossoms in quiet, sensual light

Come and touch my heart made of softness and wanting to feel with you

In the cold spring air white wisps still visible the world is alive again

In Spring, amber drips of dew invite me to paint the world yellow

Magnolia flowers of all time unweary the visual aspect of the purple queen

In the gentle turning of the earth, compassion blooms—brief, golden, and eternal

Robes of scarlet lingering on the threshold of dawn

Where shadows soften the delicate cling to their light

When the earth blushes away

The day opens its wealth, and what blooms does not hesitate
