Artist Statement

I am Ritika Jain, an artist based in the Greater Seattle area of the Pacific Northwest. Driven by how environments shape emotion, I create art that brings calm, energy, and depth to modern spaces. My studio practice bridges a career in software engineering and a Master’s in Computer Graphics with a lifelong passion for making things by hand. This duality brings analytical precision to composition and spatial relationships, while allowing my canvas to remain a space for intuition and tactile experimentation. I make art to unite structure and soul, turning ordinary walls into engaging visual experiences.
