Why abstract art? I'm trying to communicate emotion, feelings, my soul, and the idea of this is abstract in itself. Fact to fact- reality to brain is forthright and 2 dimensional. Abstract art connects with your soul and that is a heightened awareness of being, of being human. That's why so many, most I'd venture, say they are "inspired by nature and the world around them". Who isn't? Being human is acutely felt when connected with other people, animals, and the natural world.
