Jared Lyon

Artist Bio

Jared is an accomplished early-career abstract artist from the Pacific Northwest. His work is currently on display at the University of Washington, in multiple private collections, and has previously been featured in various local boutiques and galleries throughout the Greater Seattle Area.

With a penchant for striking arrays of color, bold utilization of depth and transparency, and nature-inspired abstraction, Jared has developed his own unique approach and techniques to creating the kind of art that has propelled his success at such a young age.

Jared’s early work brought together aerosols, canvas, and the physical manipulation of paint to produce abstractions likened to sunsets, mountainsides, interstellar nebulae, and much more.

Now, Jared prefers to draw together resin and enamel over wood canvas in a slow, deliberate fashion, paying close attention to texture, depth, and color. In this manner, Jared endeavors to create expansive works of art that guide the viewer through an appreciation of the whole, while inviting them to explore the detailed intricacies of each unique piece.
