When, how, where, and why can you use copyrighted materials without permission? This workshop on fair use will answer those questions, looking at recent illustrations of fair use in action, including those that survived court challenges and those that did not. This workshop will help you understand how and why the law of copyright fair use has changed dramatically over the past 25 years. Although we will focus on literary works, all types of creative works will be discussed and this workshop is appropriate for all types of creators.
