Do you have a marvelous illuminated creation or performance piece in your mind, in progress, or created and itching to get out into the world? The Fremont Arts Council invites all artists, aspiring artists, designers, lighting designers, musicians, and performers to propose large-scale art installations, movable creations, and performances for Luminata!
Luminata is a glowing celebration to welcome the Autumnal Equinox at Green Lake in Seattle. Revelers meet at the Aqua Theater for opening performances of music and movement, and then parade with glowing lanterns and dazzling costumes along the lake to the Bathhouse for a Secret Banquet with art, live music, and hot cider. We are seeking illuminated installations for either end of the parade, movable creations to move with the parade, and music and performances to tie it all together.
