Ever noticed how many unusual birds show up here in winter? The greater Puget Sound area is wintering grounds for many migrant birds that nest in the polar region. These birds have traditional migratory paths, specific areas in which they spend most of their time, and time periods that they stay. This class will discuss where to find the visiting birds and the best times to see them. We will discuss local birding festivals, migration windows for spring, wintering birds, viewing tips and photography pointers. For birders and photographers.
Class is Monday, January 9, 2017 at 6:30 to 8:30 pm
