Gallery North in Edmonds announces the opening of registration for its annual juried Small Works Show, and invites artists to enter this show. Registration opens January 2nd and continues through the submission deadline of 6:00pm on February 7th. This popular juried art exhibition will be on display at Gallery North in downtown Edmonds from March 1st through March 30th.
Artists, patrons, and art collectors look forward to this exhibit every year. Last year’s very successful show included 77 artists and more than 200 small works. Edmonds-based professional artist and muralist, Andy Eccleshall, will be the awards juror for the 2017 Small Works Show. As a professional artist, Andy Eccleshall is known for his atmospheric landscapes painted in a realistic style. Eccleshall also is a gifted muralist who owns The Mural Works, in Edmonds, WA. As a muralist, Andy Eccleshall specializes in hand painted residential and commercial trompe l’oeil and fine art murals. His commissions include several murals in downtown Edmonds.
The 2017 Small Works Show will feature small format paintings and drawings done in a wide array of styles and mediums. Artists may enter up to six pieces and all accepted artwork will be on display and available for sale throughout the month of March.
