Now Open: Public Art Call for EV Charging Stations and Lots

Seattle Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS) in partnership with Seattle City Light (SCL) is seeking an artist to develop site-specific artwork designs and artistic design elements for existing and new Electric Vehicle (EV) charging parking lots and stand-alone EV charging terminals throughout the City of Seattle. This is a design-only project in which the fabrication and installation will be coordinated by the City.

The selected artist will work with SCL and other City Departments, consultants, and community stakeholders during the project design and proposal process. The artist will receive a $15,000 design and coordination contract. The artwork created as part of this project is considered temporary and will have an assumed 5-year lifespan.
