Description: Creative Art Journaling is an introduction to a creative practice that can support anybody. The journal is a free place to experiment, express and explore your inner landscape. You will learn different ways to engage your art journal using many materials that you probably already have at home: ink, acrylic and watercolor paints, collage, stencils, markers and more. You will create a safe place to engage in new possibilities while encountering resistance, self-criticism and the satisfaction of making art anyways! Supplies are included!
Participants aged 15 and up with any experience level are welcome. No prior knowledge or experience is required!
COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement: All participants 12 years of age and older are required to show a COVID-19 vaccine card (hard copy, photo, or digital scan) or a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the event to gain entry. Photos or scans of vaccine cards may be emailed ahead of time to Jonathan Booker, Arts Education Director, at [email protected] or presented at check-in. Masks and social distancing are required. There is no vaccine requirement for participants under 12 years of age.
SeattleArtists.com was launched in 1999 in a little studio apartment on the edge of Lake Union. Our mission was and still remains to provide an artists network and marketplace for independent and emerging artists in the Seattle and Pacific Northwest art communities. We provide member artists with a free directory listing as well as an online portfolio for premier members. Discover some of the best hidden talent in the local Seattle art community!
