Informed by Nature: Painting in Still Life with Juliette Aristides

Join me in person for an exclusive workshop in an intimate environment to study and create work together on the beautiful Whidbey Island! In this workshop, students explore the painting process in a unique way by creating a small-scale still life in oil, working from life. Emphasis is placed on core principles—composition, proportion, value structure, and color relationships—through a clear, sequential methodology rooted in classical practice. In an unusual twist of still life we will be sketching part of every day outside. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced artist, leave the workshop with a renewed confidence, a greater understanding of picture making and a renewed love of making art.
