Join renowned landscape painter William E. Elston for a three-day plein air workshop at Whidbey Island Fine Art Studio. Designed for all levels, this workshop explores a perceptual approach to landscape painting, blending Impressionist color theory with a Realist aesthetic.
Students will enjoy daily demonstrations, personalized instruction, and group critiques, all focused on deepening understanding of light, color, and atmosphere in outdoor painting. The experience also includes a public evening lecture by William on “The Language of Art in Thought and Action.”
