Discover the art of capturing the luminous beauty and vitality of flowers in this expressive three day workshop at Whidbey Island Fine Art Studio. Artist Richard Kochenash will guide students through dynamic techniques that bring florals to life, from gestural brushwork and layering color vibrations to painting light as it filters through delicate petals.
The workshop begins with a Friday evening demo, where Richard shares his creative process, compositional approach, and unique tools and methods. Over the following days, students will paint from live subjects with personalized critiques and group guidance to refine both technique and intuition.
