Tacoma in Seattle

Tacoma has all the art.

So we thought we’d be super generous and share a little. For two days in August, you’ll be able to go to River event space in Belltown Seattle to see some serious art.

The 10 participating artists include: Amy Lewis (Watercolors and Oils),  Lydia Jewel Gerard (Ink, Watercolor + Digital), Erika Norris (Colored Pencil), Lourdes Jackson (Oil + Installation Works), Ashley Laufer (Watercolor), Mike Murphy (Acrylic), Sarah Demass (Acrylic), Annika Smith (Oil), Jared Michael (Mixed Media spray paint), and Dierdre Patterson (Acrylics).

Two receptions at River will offer the opportunity to meet the artists, view and purchase their art on August 11th from 5-9 pm and August 12th from 12-4 pm. 

Friday, August 11th, is the same night as the Belltown Art Walk.  It’s the perfect opportunity to hit all the downtown galleries and end the night at Tacoma in Seattle. There will be music from Tacoma DJs and drinks from a Tacoma cider brewery.

Saturday afternoon is for wandering around Pike Place Market. After you’ve finished your brunch you can head down to shop art and get inspired at River. These 10 Tacoma artists welcome you to River in Belltown to see for yourself what Tacoma has to offer.

“We are all very excited to throw an event that anyone who appreciates art and a good time would love to go to,” says Lewis. “This event will give you just a slice of what Tacoma has to offer. The roster is full of high quality work which ranges in style from abstract to photorealism.”
