TOUCHING SCENT MEMORIES

TOUCHING SCENT MEMORIES

What: A collaborative multisensory art project between Scent Lending Library creator Donna Lipowitz and lifetime Seattle resident Beata Stensager.  Instead of photographs, Beata's memories have been interpreted into tactile scent jars. For this special presentation of Touching Memories, Donna and Beata will read aloud some of the scent memories and answer any questions you may have about the project.

And for a special treat and extra sensory layer, we will be sharing edible memories with visitors as well. This is an ongoing project, and part of the Please Touch exhibition at Fogue Studios, an annual Group Art Show Organized by ReVision Arts.

The exhibit is designed to be inclusive, particularly for blind and low-vision visitors, but all are welcomed.
