Hi, I'm Joe, the founder and webmaster of SeattleArtists.com. I'm a photography and programmer. I originally started SeattleArtists.com in 1999 after leaving active duty in the Army as a way to showcase my own photography portfolio. At the time there was very little representation for independent artists and getting published or exhibited in galleries was expensive and difficult. So SeattleArtists.com was born.
