David Allen(David Allen)(@deallenartist)
PremierI started painting full time after I retired from a career in software. My interest in painting comes from being out in nature, especially after I completed hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Observing the nuances of trees, plants and animals on the trail inspired me to try and capture the feeling they invoked on canvas.

Artist Statement
I love painting light with bright colors. Most of my paintings are botanical, often with the use of under-painting and palette knifes.
