      About the event
Join us for a special Galentine’s Day event where you can create a beautiful traditional Korean Minhwa artwork! Local Seattle artist Hee Seo will guide you through the process of painting a Sogwado, which features small fruit paintings that symbolize fertility and happiness in Minhwa art.

      Why Minhwa?
Minhwa, or Korean folk painting, is known for its vibrant colors and symbolic meanings. The Sogwado paintings are particularly significant, representing abundance and joy, making them a perfect theme for celebrating friendship and love on Galentine’s/Valentine’s Day.

Gather your gals and pals and join us for a fun and creative evening filled with art, laughter, and celebration!
