Acclaimed artist E Grace Dager comes out of pandemic isolation hibernation to present her newest works of Art, Virus; In Second Sight at the Wendt Art Award winning Zamarama Gallery on Colby Avenue between Hewitt Avenue and Wall Street in downtown Everett. The opening event will be on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at 6:00 PM until the evening ends.
Dager’s inspiration comes from the microscopic views of the virus itself, bubbling up from her unconscious into the abstract forms on her canvass. These unique and amazing pieces will strike wonder into your eyes and mind.
E Grace Dager, who prefers to be called Grace, is a varied, talented, and prolific artist. She rarely shows the same series twice. (See her Bio and description of the presentation for more information.)
Formerly of Seattle, Dager is part of the migration of Seattle artists and gallery owners to more affordable Everett as is Bill Zama, who once had Zamarama Gallery in the Crown Hill neighborhood. Everett is a short commute from Seattle and is becoming an artist’s enclave.
Bill Zama, the proprietor of Zamarama, won the Everett Mayor’s 2022 Wendt Art Award for Arts Entrepreneur, “for growing the cultural vitality of Everett by empowering and promoting local artists.” Zamarama Gallery is located at 2936 Colby Ave, Everett, WA 98201.
There will be entertainment, beverages and snacks. Be prepared to be awed. You will want to buy some art. The exhibit will hang from the third Thursday Everett Art Walk on Sept 15th until November 17th.
For more information contact Bill Zama at 206 245 4239.
New work by E. Grace Dager.
In this new body of work, artist E. Grace Dager explores the hidden realm at our fingertips, and what that might look like if we could see a magnified view. Drawing from her imagination and in preponderance of the changing world, she explores the potential beauty of a deadly pathogen, and comes to terms with that which we can not control, nor eradicate.
