|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 8:00am, repeating until June 16, 2018

The multi-medium, 68th Annual Juried Art Exhibit “Secret Visions” by Seattle CoArts runs February 15th thru June 16th, 2018, at the University House at Wallingford, Seattle.

Seattle CoArts, a group of 150 local artists with a long history in the Northwest of working with many mediums and a wide expanse of experience, ranging from emerging novices to nationally exhibited and published painters is celebrating their 68th Juried Show. The theme of the show, “Secret Visions,” is a tribute to where our artistic experience begins. Ellen Busteed, this year’s show chair explained, “The creative experience may originate from the outside, e.g. observing nature, watching people or noticing an urban scene, or from within, e.g. drawing on past experiences, emotions and feelings. I believe that most artistic work evolves from both external and internal stimulus.” There are sixty-four paintings being shown by forty-three artists, in watercolor, acrylic, oil and pastels.

The exhibit will be open February 15 through June 16, 2018. Come and experience the colorful, inspiring art for the community!

Daily from 8am to 5pm.
