|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 11:00am, repeating indefinitely

Gallery North announces the opening of its annual Small Works Show, an invitational show of small-sized artwork. This highly-anticipated exhibit provides an excellent opportunity to see and obtain the artwork of a wide array of artists in a single location. This year, artists submitted work from ten different states. The show features 175 paintings and drawings from the 70 artists juried into the show. All artworks are available for sale. Art collectors are advised to come early for the best selection. The exhibit is open daily from March 1 through March 30.

“We are pleased that our annual Small Works Show has gained the attention of so many highly-talented artists. This year, we have received an incredible number of stunning artworks. We are proud to provide a venue to showcase the very best artwork from those artists who entered the show.” – Wei Chen, 2018 Small Works Show Chair

This year’s Small Works Show awards will be selected by Seattle artist Barbara Noonan. She is a Signature Member of the Northwest Pastel Society and the Pastel Society of the West Coast, a member of Women Painters of Washington, and has acted as a juror for art exhibitions in Washington and Oregon.

Gallery North will host an Artists’ Reception and Awards Ceremony for the Small Works show on Sunday, March 11, from 1 to 4pm. Awards will be announced at 2pm. The Art Walk Edmonds Third Thursday event will be on March 15, from 5 to 8pm. For details or other information about the show, please visit the Gallery North website at
