ArtXchange Gallery presents Bodies of Land, a dual exhibition featuring Ann Leda Shapiro and Hanako O’Leary, two artists known for bold feminist perspectives in their artwork. In this exhibition the artists draw parallels between the body and landscape, highlighting how both systems are impacted by society.
Through explorations of feminine power, environmental exploitation, and global mythology, each artist explores the body and its connection to land in varying ways, drawn together by their mutual interest in what is exposed and what is hidden.
