I wanted to make a copy of this artwork I saw in a palace in Rajasthan, India and I'm wondering if someone on here can help me out with details. Most imoprtantly how much it will cost me. Size: 16†x 20. I have a photograph of the painting and I can email it to interested people and you can let me know if it will work out or not.

Thanks much
Edlyn
war?

One might assume me a pacifist, this is not the case. Though I see the irony of what we are, I must accept this as our nature. All in the past who aspired to change our nature lay slain, we all have this cross to bear. Holy wars litter our history and loom in our future... it would seem repetition would teach, sadly no. Perhaps I am more flawed than most, having seen the truth, and using it for nothing more than a trivial rhyme. My only defense is, I have been a warrior and an artist... artist has far less guilt as a consequence.

Pottery Needed for Book/Video Project!

Hello There,

I'm an acupuncturist here in Seattle, specializing in digestive
health and nourishment. I'm also an artist of sorts
(though it's taken me almost 36 years to admit this) dabbling in
metal, clay, and string (banjo string, that is... :)).

I'm
writing
because I need some
help from the talented potters out there, and I'd like to offer a favor
in exchange...

I am in the midst of creating a cookbook, designed for everyday life...
It's actually an entire book based on one simple recipe, with stories
about
each of the individuals who have contributed their unique "version" of
the dish. The title of the book is "Nourishment Made Simple", and I'm
aiming to complete this project in 9-10 months.

Next week, I will be filming 3 short videos that will be used both as a
teaching aid, as well as to promote the book and encourage
participation. The video will be shot at
Whole Foods Market in North Seattle (independent of the
store) on Wednesday, June 9th.

I am in need of bowls and dishes to present the "baked grain" dishes
(both in the video, as well as those professionally photographed in the
book). I personally believe food tastes better when
eaten out of a handmade dish, and I cannot imagine a more simple and
beautiful way of presenting it than this.

So if you have a medium bowl (average dinner size) or serving dish that
has been gathering dust, or if you have something else in mind that you
would like to donate to this project (any time before August 31st,
2010), you would be forever
appreciated... In exchange, you will be formally acknowledged in my
book (either by name or business), as well as receive a copy of the book
when it is completed. In addition, if anyone would like to
contribute 3 medium bowls by Monday, June 7th, 2010, the creator
of these dishes will also be named in the short list of credits at the
end of each video (which I will be doing my best to spread far and
wide).

If this interests you at all, please feel free to drop me a line at
sharongraylac@gmail.com
or call me at 206-234-2603.

Thank you so much for your time, generosity, and talent!

Kindly,
