Join King County arts professionals & colleagues for discussions of local, state and national arts issues.
Catch up on the latest news and information that could affect you or your organization from Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, 4Culture Washington State Arts Commission and other area municipalities. Network with other arts administrators, presenters, artists, board members, community & civic arts leaders, educators and volunteers from King County.
We will discuss 2010 legislative session arts-related issues.

Mark your calendars now to be at these meetings. ###################### One way you can help arts advocacy RIGHT NOW is to be a member of your state ARTS ALLIANCE. MEMBERSHIPS dues are based on a sliding scale according to each organization's budget. Affiliate and individual memberships are also available. We need to organize ourselves for advocacy and action! Thank you to those organizations and individuals who have already sent in their WSAA memberships for 2009-10. There is great power in numbers!
Remember that we can't look out for you without grassroots membership support.
Constant vigilance and action are a necessary part of arts and arts education advocacy.

Ask about Advocacy Training Sessions for your staff, board or volunteer meetings. PLEASE NOTE! Arts Day in Olympia will be on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 this year.
Cultural Congress conference will be on Monday April 26-Wednesday April 28, 2010.
